Speckles
Dog
Catahoula Leopard Dog,Border Collie Mix

Size: Large
Age: Adult
Sex: Female
I.D:

Notes: Poor Speckles --- abandoned at a boarding kennel because her "guardian" moved. Speckles is a five year-old happy, ball-lovin' Catahoula mix girl who has never met a stranger --- human, dog or cat --- she loves them all! Speckles is overweight but is getting healthier and leaner every day. She's spayed and is up-to-date on vaccinations. Will you be the one to provide Speckles with the forever home she deserves?

Sadie
Dog
Catahoula Leopard Dog

Size: Large
Age: Adult
Sex: Female
I.D:

Notes: SADIE 2 YEARS OLD SPAYED UTD

Sadie is very timid. She was rescued from a kill shelter in Arkansas where she lost her dog buddies daily and must have known she would be next. She has warmed up to her foster parents, but is still skittish around loud kids and big men. She gets along great with other dogs and even the ferrets that share her foster home. She has an obsession for cheez-its, so never leave a box in her reach. Sadie's foster mom thinks she would be great in a home with older children, as she seems to be good with kids over 9 years old.

Sadie is up to date on all her vaccinations and is spayed. She is on frontline and is flea and tick free. She has the prettiest green eyes, and you can't see it in the photo, but she has a diamond shaped blue fleck in her left eye ( right in picture). CJ
Dog
Catahoula Leopard Dog

Size: Large
Age: Adult
Sex: Female
I.D:

Notes: COURTESY LISTING - This dog is located in Georgia

I currently have a female, silver leopard, purebred Catahoula who needs a new home. Her name is CJ, and she is a very sweet and gentle girl. She is approx 5 years old and weighs about 60 LBS. I am extremely sad to have to find her a new home, but I am being forced to move from my home with a fenced-in backyard to a small apartment. CJ has been an OUTSIDE dog her whole life. She is very active and would be devastated to have to adjust to being confined to an enclosed space for a long period of time. She is good with all dogs (male and female), and she is GREAT with kids! She is in excellent health. She has scarring on her hip that occurred from an accident that happened approx 4 years ago, she has fully recovered from this experience. She is up to date on all of her shots and is currently on heartworm preventative. I am hoping to find her a home with some land, but the prospective home must have at least a fenced-in yard! Please let me know if you can help me with placing CJ. If you would like to adopt CJ, please contact me by email at markreed6301@yahoo.com or by phone at (678) 366-0225. Thank you, Mark Reed [NOTE from Catahoula Rescue: Most Catahoulas will adjust well to indoor life as long as they have regular daily exercise. Adult dogs are quite easy to housebreak and usually housebreak themselves.]

Notes: COURTESY LISTING: Hilda (ID #315775) is available for adoption through Town Lake Animal Center in Austin, Texas. Hilda walks well on leash, is friendly to other dogs, will work for treats and affection. She can be easily distracted at TLAC but knows verbal 'sit'. Hilda is friendly and gentle, but she does jump up at times when excited about treats. After turning your back on her, she figures it out to quit jumping. Hilda is sweet, lovable and cuddly. She likes head rubs and knows 'come here'. Hilda's due out date was August 22nd, 2003, which means she is in danger of being euthanized.
